Alison Marae DunnDunn-Razo Dance Company -a non profit organization dedicated to providing charitable and educational programs to the community. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in San Diego by promoting the art and benefits of dance and the arts.
The Dunn-Razo Dance Company offers a specialized curriculum in dance where dance technique, terminology, choreography, repertory, and performance skills are introduced and honed, enhancing coordination, balance, body awareness, poise, and flexibility.

In a non competitive, supportive, and encouraging environment, we pride ourselves in educating students where an emphasis is placed on artistic development, individuality, and most of all fun!

Forever Dancin Youth Group ( 8-12 yrs ) Mondays 4:00-6:00
Dancers will study and perform a variety of dance techniques and
choreography, such as jazz, hip-hop, musical theatre, ballet, tap,
and student choreography. In a nurturing and non-competitive
environment, artistic development and growth are encouraged, allowing
children to flourish through the power of dance, sparking confidence,
self-discipline, determination, and creative imaginations.

Dress Code
Ballet: black leotard, pink tights, skirt (optional), pink ballet shoes.
Jazz/Hip Hop: Any color leggings, leotard, jazz pants or tank top. Black jazz shoes or barefoot. No street clothes.

Tuition
1 hour class/week - $36/month per child
45 minute class/week - $32/month per child
Family Discounts:
2 hour class/week - $32/month per child
3 hour class/week - $28/month per child
4 hour class/week - $24/month per child
All classes are subject to cancellation upon low class enrollment.
As a non profit organization, the Dunn-Razo Dance Company has created these low fees so that anyone in the community can enjoy and benefit from receiving a dance education/ Please contact us if you are in need of financial assistance.

POLICIES
Tuition is due by the 1st week of each month. A late fee of $10 will be applied if paid after the 10th of the month.
There are no refunds for missed classes. Classes may be made up if available and also expire within a month of a missed class.
Instructor:
Alison Dunn-RazoAlison Dunn-Razo brings 25 years of dance experience to San Diego. She has taught, directed, choreographed, and performed nationally and internationally. As a performer, she has performed the works of local choreographers, Al Germani, Christina Jones-Stuart, Terry Wilson, Terry Sprague, Terri Shipman, Patrick Nollet, and Patricia Rincon. She has also performed and choreographed for musical stage productions of, A Chorus Line, Hair, Music Man, and Hello Dolly. As a dance educator, she prides herself in teaching children, as well as teens and adults. She is currently working to bring arts in education to local schools and build after school performing arts programs. She founded the Dunn-Razo Dance Company in 2000, and is currently executive/artistic director.
Outreach Program
The outreach program is offered to children in grades 3-12. Children will experience and explore dance through workshop residencies, lecture/demonstrations and/or performance by our professional and youth dance companies.Designed with freedom of expression in mind, our school residencies examine the integration of different dance techniques (modern, ballet, jazz, hip hop) with theater (drama or musical theater), structured choreography and student dance construction.
Using the Visual and Performing Arts standards, we work together with classroom teachers, using creative writing, literature, poetry, history, or culture to inspire children. Through team - work and creative problem solving, students will develop, rehearse and perform personal, evocative works of art.
Using arts in education, children are exposed to a world of possibilities, fostering classroom discussions, enhancing critical thinking skills, and developing a self-confidence that will last a lifetime.
